Co-Head of Public Fixed Income
Doug Weih, CFA, is co-head of public fixed income and a portfolio manager responsible for a broad range of structured finance and investment grade fixed income strategies. He is a member of the Aegon Asset Management US Executive Committee. In addition, he is a member of the Asset Aegon Management steering committee that sets global macro and asset allocation strategies (global house views) and has responsibility for implementation of those views in the US. Prior to his current role, Doug was employed in the treasury and investment management areas of a nationally chartered bank before becoming a commercial real estate lender at that institution. He has 25 years of industry experience and has been with the firm and its affiliates since 2000. Doug received his BA in economics from the University of Iowa and MBA in finance from the University of Iowa. He is a CFA® charterholder.
