Please be aware of a scam e-mail which is impersonating Aegon Asset Management Recruitment.
The scam in question involves an e-mail falsely purporting to be from Aegon Asset Management. The email describes a ficticious job offer at Aegon Asset Management. If you receive such an e-mail, please be aware that it does not come from Aegon Asset Management or any of the other Aegon affiliates.
Do not open any attachments or links from the e-mail
Please do not open the e-mail. It might contain a virus or malware that can infect your machine through attachments or links. Also do not respond to the e-mail in any way. If you have already submitted your personal data, please contact your local law enforcement authorities.
How to recognize scams
There are a lot of ways to recognize a fraudulant e-mail. Since the scam is primairly targeted to an Australian audience, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC) explains what to look for on their website. Please also report the scam to the ACCC so they can assess the e-mail and take actions against it.
